family run business since 1955, Baum Textile Mills, Inc. has

fabrics for the home sewing industry. Building a distinguished
reputation for the finest fleeces and flannels on the market,
Baum trademarked its exclusive WinterFleece™ "Velour
Finsh", a process that allows for extraordinary detail, and
the softest hand available on its WinterFleece™ and Weatherblock™
fabrics. Baum features an extensive selection of these fabrics
plus complete collections of Flurr™, Cuddle™,
Cubbybear™
Flannel and Berbers.
In 1995, after recognizing a need for more quality quilting and
crafting fabrics, Baum began to add beautiful cotton sheetings
to its collections and saw the popularity of these lines grow
rapidly. In response to this growing market, Baum decided to
focus its efforts on the needs of the independent quilt shops
and introduced a new division, Windham
Fabrics. Working extensively with quilt historians, industry
experts, an in-house design studio, and well-known designers
from all around the world, Windham Fabrics has become a leader
in the marketplace. Known for its authentic reproductions of
antique fabrics, Windham also offers florals, textures, retro
and many other fabric collections exclusively for quilt shops
only.
Beginning in 2006, Windham Fabrics is proud to offer the Anna
Griffin™ collections. Anna Griffin's elegant and
sophisticated design style has captured the hearts of crafters
and design savvy consumers everywhere. With a style uniquely her
own, Anna has created a career out of her passion for
collecting. Her numerous product lines have been inspired by
antique engravings, European textiles, and hand-painted
botanicals from her personal archives. These elegant papers and
accessories have found their way to the next natural progression
- beautiful fabrics! What was once available only on paper has
now been translated into elegant cotton quilting fabrics,
exclusively by Windham Fabrics.
