Santa Fe, America's oldest capital
city, is nestled at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the
Rocky Mountains and rich in traditions based on Native
American, Spanish and Anglo cultures. This collection
represents the influence of each of these cultures: the
distinctive weave patterns of the Native Americans, the
floral scrolls reminiscent of Spanish designs and the
small, repetitive shirting-like designs popular among
the Anglo society. Cream, sand, mocha, and slate blue
colorations offer many options for projects that capture
the essence that is unique to the American southwest
region. |
